The Mother path is an alternate route in *Repentance* that diverges from the traditional Cathedral/Sheol endings. To reach her, Isaac must collect the Red Key, Knife Piece 1 (from the Downpour/Dross), and Knife Piece 2 (from the Mines/Ashpit), then assemble the Knife in the Mausoleum/Gehenna to unlock the door to the Corpse. Inside the Corpse, Isaac fights through two floors (Corpse I and II) before facing Mother in a multi-phase boss battle.
